Hardest Hit Alabama Helps Huntsville Homeowner Avoid Foreclosure

Rich Cantwell started his career in the Navy and then worked as an instructor at a tech company for five years. After a stint selling insurance, Cantwell began a successful 30+ year career selling electronic components like chips and semiconductors that regularly had him travelling throughout the United States and Canada.

But in July 2014, Cantwell was laid off from his job. Though he bounced back and found another job in sales, it wasn’t as high paying and Cantwell needed time on the job to build his knowledge of a new industry and a customer base.

That meant he was experiencing a 70 percent reduction in his income. Cantwell says, “I was bleeding money. All my liquid assets were gone, so I knew I had to do something.”

That’s when he saw a commercial for Hardest Hit Alabama and thought it was worth checking out. He says, “I had a great experience and everything was accomplished in an expeditious manner. For just 15-20 minutes of my time, I got the help I really needed.”

With the help of Hardest Hit Alabama, Cantwell was able to stay current on his mortgage. He says of his experience with Hardest Hit Alabama, “I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs help, and I actually already have.”
